Project Overview
Fargo is Wells Fargo’s new AI Virtual Assistant. We designed a brand new customer experience centered around conversational AI and delivering valuable insights to millions of customers.
My Role
Product Design
Design the experience and its features. Imagine future releases and create modular UI components that will support both current and future product needs.
Motion Design
Lead the creation of a motion design system, which includes both UI component behaviors and animated illustrations.
Prototype
Build hi-fidelity clickable prototypes to establish and test motion designs. Share prototypes with developers along with final specs, and use prototypes to demonstrate product to senior executives.
Developer Liaison
Meet regularly with Engineering partners to ensure motions and visual designs are implemented correctly and efficiently. Identify pragmatic trade-offs in the presence of tech constraints.

Welcome
This welcome screen greets users and introduces them to the Fargo conversational AI experience.
Motion in concert
This interface was designed to be fluid and remain in the same view for the duration of the exchange. This required a lot of components working together seamlessly. Therefore, a strong, yet flexible, motion system was created, so that all moving pieces sang together in unison, as opposed to stepping on each others’ toes.
